» Press Release #1 - The biggest drug bust in history for LSPD.
    Date: 06/MARCH/2017

    Greetings Citizents of Los Santos.

At approximately 9:45PM a police supervisor unit (SAM-10) was patrolling around Jefferson Motel area in East Los Santos, Police Lieutenant Justin Shane and Police Officer III Jason Converse. When a black Pony comes speeding out from the train tracks tunnel at Jefferson Motel with direction southbound. The unit quickly went after the black Pony van and pulled it over at the parking lot west-side of Jefferson Motel. As one of the department's policies the officers decided to run up the plate to make sure the owner was not wanted or vehicle was not reported stolen. As they ran the plate of the vehicle they notice the owner of the vehicle had an arrest warrant for running off from a traffic stop on 1st of March this year. Officers quickly called in over central radio a 10-66' meaning a felony stop. When officers arrived to the scene and they started to proceed with the felony stop the driver of the Black Pony jumped out of the vehicle and ran off, jumping into a red infernus and escaped quickly. Passanger was taken on gun point and taken into custody by police officers on scene.

As Officers already had an warrant for the owner of the vehicle the proceed with searching the black Pony for any illegal items. They quickly notice large objects in the back of the van and started to inspect them. It was soon made clear the department was going to make history on the biggest drug bust ever made. In total was 880 Grams of Cannabis and 1,100 Grams of Cocaine found in the back of the Pony. Police Officers quickly locked down the area, Officers from Metropolitian Division responded to secure the area while the drug was moved into a enforcer and transported down to the station.

As Police Officers already knew the name and had an arrest warrant for the last suspect that escaped the SWAT was called in. SWAT quickly got ready and moved to the house address the suspect was registered at. Operators from the SWAT team quickly made entrance to the house in Idlewood. In all suprise the suspect was found in his house by the SWAT team and taken into custody without any violence made. Officers at the address decided to search it and found a open safe with another 1,200 Grams of Cannabis. It's unknown if he was trying to move it and police was to quick and gave him a suprise visit. Meaning the Police Department in total confiscated 2,080 Grams of Cannabis and 1,100 Grams of Cocaine, a total of 3 kilo grams of narcotics. The cannabis found in his house address and the suspect was transported to Los Santos Police Department central station to be interrogated by Police Detectives.

This was a successful bust for the Los Santos Police Department, the department have never confiscated a so large number before. Police Captain Frank Williamson, Chief of Operations stated. " Today the Los Santos Police Department won, we can't win everyday but this is just a start on a new era. We are going to continue working hard to make the streets of Los Santos clean of narcotics. I would like to congratulate Police Lieutenant Justin Shane and Police Officer III Jason Converse on this bust. This is why we love the job as a Police Officer, you never know how your day will turn out. A regular traffic stop ended up making history in the department and taking off such a large ammout of narcotics from the street. However this is not the end of this, Intelligence Division will continue looking into this and try to find out where the narcotics was going and where it came from."
